We build the redaction tool we wanted to trust.
Too many leaks start with a black box drawn over text that was still there. RedactFirst exists so that small offices can remove what must go, prove it, and keep their documents to themselves.

Local first
Documents are processed on the computer they are already on. Nothing is uploaded unless you share it with your team, and then only end-to-end encrypted on your device.

Prove it, don't promise it
Every copy is re-opened and checked by code that does not share the redaction logic, and every copy comes with a report.

Honest words
We never call RedactFirst compliant, certified or guaranteed. Suggestions can miss things; we say so, in the app and here.
